For example, by using the route of the Tour of Drenthe, and signage for hotels and parks. And of course by pointing out that Drenthe is the province of cycling. In this way, tourism and visits can also be strengthened.<\/p>\n
What role does the UCI Bike Region label play in profiling Drenthe as a cycling province?<\/b><\/p>\n
The UCI Bike Region label will raise awareness of the cycling province by explaining what the label means.<\/p>\n
What are the highlights of the province of Drenthe for you??<\/b><\/p>\n
First, the Tour of Drenthe for Women, which is part of the Women’s World Tour (the World Cup). Secondly, the Drenthe Pro Tour, next season’s Hors Category, the second largest cycling race in the Netherlands after the Amstel Gold Race. Finally, the Drentse Fiets4daagse.<\/p>\n
What are your ambitions for Drenthe as a cycling province and how do you contribute to this?<\/b><\/p>\n
Put our shoulders behind it together and cooperate more. Tourism and recreation are two spearheads, including many activities within the framework of \u2018Op Fietse\u2019. The label and the promotion of the Tour of Drenthe to the Hors category put Drenthe even more firmly on the map as a cycling province. We notice this in the Netherlands and abroad.<\/p>\n
